10 points XX: Favourite K-Pop 2011

Just a few days ago... I found myself thinking that 2011 wasn't that much of a good K-Pop Year. There were no songs as awesome as "Lucifer", no performances as awesome as "Heartbeat" and no memorable dances like "Shock" or "Gee".

But... when I looked through my Ipod I foud a loooooot of great songs and I realized I was wrong. 2011 just didn't seem as good as 2010 or 2009 because I had a lot less time to waste on youtube. 

So here they are...my favourite Kpop Songs 2011! (Even though I'm super pissed right now because I somehow can't add more than one vid to my post)

• Big Bang - Tonight

2011 was - without a doubt - a hard year for Big Bang. Daesungs accident... GDs marijuana incident...those are actually issues that can destroy an idol group . But Big Bang survived. And they won "best artist worldwide" at the MTV EMAs. A big triumph for Big Bang, YG and K-Pop Music. I love Daesungs Solo "Baby don't cry" from their Mini Album as well.

• 2NE1 - I am the Best

There's not much to say...: 2ne1 ist still the best girl group in Kpop. I think they gained a lot of international influence and interest in 2011, winning international awards and working togheter with famous artists from the U.S. (e.g. Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas).  Even though "I am the best" is my favourite 2ne1 track 2011, I loved "hate you" and "ugly" as well.

• Beast - Fiction 

What a catchy song! And I love the penguin dance move :D. Even though they had huge hits in 2010, too, I feel that in 2011 Beast became on of the most important groups in Kpop. Not being managed by one of the 3 big agencys (even though Cube is kind of a sister company of JYPE or something?!), I still have the feeling that they are playing in the same league as SHINee and 2pm now. Their Album "Fiction and Fact" also contained the ballad "Virus", which is one of the most played songs on my ipod. Yes. MY Ipod. A ballad. Believe me, it's beautiful.

• Wonder Girls - Be my Baby

This is kind of a typical Wonder Girls Song. It's so catchy that it will be stuck in your head for DAYS. The mv was simple but really nice as well, even though it reminded me a lot of "Single Ladies". Dundun.

• Infinite - Be Mine

I've  loved every song Infinite promoted since their debut in 2010. Strangely I didn' realize how much of a fan I was until a few days ago. I was listening to "Be mine"... and then it hit me. I stalked them a bit on youtube and now I've turned into a complete fangirl: I don't just like their songs anymore, I like them as a group. Infinite fighting! (btw... Sunggyu is my favourite...even though he seems really mean sometimes)

• 2pm - Hands up!

Yes... at first I was disappointed with the song. Even though I was glad that 2pm didn't release another depri-song, I just felt that "Hands up!" and the mv didn't fit 2pm. But during my bike rides to University every morning in summer I really started to like it. It's such a moodmaker!

•  Brown Eyed Girls - Sixth Sense

Dundun here comes the awesomeness. The beginning of the song sounds a lot like Peter Fox' "Alles neu", but it's really just the beginning. The song has a completely different feeling and the rap part ist very cool! The mv is really good, too! 

• Trouble Maker - Trouble Maker 

I like this song. I didn't like the performances, I didn't like the mv but I like this song. I'm sorry, but I really dislike the role HyunAh has to play all the time. It has probably been given to her by her agency, so it's not her fault but all the butt-shaking and grinding just isn't my thing.  Still her and Hyungseung make an awesome sub-unit!

• Super Junior - Mr. Simple 

Mr. Simple and me...we are kind of in a love-hate-relationship. The song is just so catchy... but on the other hand... I don't know... AAAH! Maybe because the mv was so disappointing after the teaser photos...

• U-Kiss - Neverland 

U-Kiss - the number one K-Pop Artist I don't pay enough attention to. A like a lot of their songs, but I don't think I've seen one mv, performance or variety show with U-Kiss to the end. I don't even know why. They just don't grab my attention as much as other groups. "Neverland" is still awesome.

I still can't believe it....

Really. I just can't. We got tickets for the Music Bank Kpop Festival in Paris in February! I'll see 2pm, SHINee, Beast and so on live on stage. Oh yeah :)

My friends and me are planing to stay in Paris a little longer to do some sightseeing and visit Disneyland.Luckily the semester at our Uni ends on the 2nd of February, and we can enjoy a little vacation right after we've finished our exams. I just can't wait!!

But right now, the semester has just started. After that disastrous last semester, I didn't choose a lot of classes and so my stresslevel is not that high yet. Let's see how everything is going in about a month. 

I've been meeting up with friends a lot in the past week... and I could show you some really funny (and embarrassing) photos. But I'm not doing it.

Actually this post should be special because it's post number 300 on this blog, but since I'm a lazy b*tch and Uni starts tomorrow I'll make it really random instead.

Hello there, it's been some days since my last post. And to be honest, I should not be blogging right now but reviewing Japanese like a maniac. But I'm too lazy, and even if I started now, I don't really think it'd make a difference. So... yes :D

I'm back to Hamburg since last Tuesday, and I spent the last days catching up with my friends from University.  I really missed those adorable dorks.

Yesterday we watched the 6 hour "Pride and Prejudice" BBC Series. I hadn't seen it before and I LOVED it. Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy is just....the he always stares at Lizzy..and... I shouldn't even start about that :D




Hm...so what else is there to talk about. I finally watched Ponyo this morning. At the beginning I was really creeped out by Ponyo but ..yeah it was cute. (Of course it's cute, it's Ghibli xD)

I have something to confess. I bought the Garnier BB Cream. I've wanted to BB Cream for quite some time now, because many of my Asia-loving friends told me that it's awesome and kind of made me believe it would cause a Sailor Moon-like transformation xD. I'm not going to do review here, because I would be stupid with no BB-experience to refer to.  It smells kind of nice, the texture is okay, too.... haha omg I'd make a horrible Beauty-Blogger :D However, I didn't think there was THAT much of a difference. My skin is not that bad to beginn with and the cream made it look nicer, but it still didn't look as flawless as Jaejoong's (or any other  K-Popstar). Why Jaejoong? Because the BB Cream scene with Jaejoon in Protect the Boss was kind of burned into my brain. "I only wear BB Cream on special occasions". Anybody seen it? x)

In February there's going to be a Music Bank K-Pop Festival in Paris (2pm, SHINee, Beast and more are coming...ftw). I'm sooooo going to try to get tickets! I could live with not getting tickets for SM Town live in Paris, but 2pm brings this event to a whole different level. I really hope I can go u.u

One last try

So I decided to give blogging one last try... even though i lost my confidence.
But some people encouraged me not to stop and I've always love it so.....here I am again.
First I thought about creating a tumblr but then I realized that I'd probably loose myself in all the reblogging and become addicted to it...in a bad way.

Right now I'm in my hometown because I'm (theoretically) on a break from university. But I still have to write a report so I'm busy nontheless
Yeah. I survived the first semester. Which is a miracle with that crazy subject combination of mine xD. And even with good results.
I have to finish my last report until Monday, so after that be prepared for a lot of posts :)

Wundervolles Buch.

Ich fühl mich, als wär ich von all den Charakteren ein bisschen was: ein Stück Midori, ein Stück Watanabe, ein bisschen Naoko und sogar ein bissche Nagasawa. Immer wieder gab es Abschnitte, mit denen ich mich so perfekt identifizieren konnte.

Haruki Murakami hat sich mal wieder als einer meiner Lieblingsautoren bestätigt.

My internet speed was restricted, so I can't watch the new episodes of Dream High :( I want more Taec and Wooyoung in school uniforms :(

10 points XVIII: Favourite songs of 2010

Yay finally a 10 points again. In English - just because I feel like it :D

Most of my favourite songs of 2010 were Kpop songs. I'm sure that -LIKE ALWAYS- some people will say that Kpop isn't real music, that I don't understand the words and that I'm superficial because just everything about these songs is soooo mainstream and so on and so an. And I basically have 1 million arguments against you ranting. But I won't say anything to defend the things I like anymore. Because I'm sick of it. And because, seriously, I don't care what you think about it any more.

• Robyn - Dancing on my own. Robyn's Bodytalk (pt. 1, 2 and 3) is my favourite album of the year. And one of my favourite albums ever. I could make this whole list just with Robyn songs. But I decided to take just 1 song per artist. Some more brilliant songs are: Cry when you get older, Time Machine, Indestructible, Hang with me, Criminal Intent, ect.
  
  
  
  
  

• SHINee - Lucifer. Because of the song and it's concept. Because of Jonghyuns and Onews voice. Because of Keys half Mohawk and his inner diva. Because of Taemins Dancing. And because Minhos is touching himself...xD

• The Wombats - Tokyo. My favourite Band. My friends gave me tickets for their concert in Hamburg in April for my birthday. If you love me let me go back to the bar in Tokyo where the demons from my past leave me in peace.

• Wir sind Helden - Bring mich nach Hause, from their wonderful album with the same title and a lot of goods songs. Went to their awesome concert in Hamburg in November!
  
  
  
  
  

• Taeyang - I'll be there (Korean Version). Sexiest Zombie Shit EVER.

• Big Bang - Lollipop. Perverted song with a cute video. It was stuck in my head for weeks... okay scratch that....months.

• 2pm - Without U. To be honest. I couldn't really decide if I like "without U" or "I'll be back" better. I chose "Without U" for three reasons. 1. Less Guyliner 2. Better dance 3. "I'm gonna be okay..without you" is a message I wanted to hear. I wanted to hear that they'll be okay as a 6-person-group. Because I believe, that even if they're not 7 anymore and never will be 7 again, they're still 2pm, and I'll support them.
  

• Vast - Pretty when you cry. I'm quite sure that this song wasn't released in 2010, but it was featured in the 2010 movie "Wir sind die Nacht" and that's where I first heard it. And started to love it.
  

• 2NE1 - Can't nobody. 2NE1 is awesome. Period. (even if minzy's part in this mv is a little bit too ganster for my taste)
  

Okay probably I forgot some songs I really loved in 2010... but I can't check which songs I listened to the most because my laptop broke down. dun dun. u.u

I didn't really expect something like that for their new song but I can't wait for the mv!

miss A - "Breathe" (und sonstiges Kpop-Gelaber)

Eigentlich wollte ich nicht zweimal hintereinander über Kpop posten...aber heute morgen hab ich gesehn, dass das neue miss A Video draußen ist - und ich kann einfach nur sagen I LIKE! (sogar mehr als 2ne1's Comeback)
Ich fand zwar den Song "Good Girl, Bad Girl" auch ganz nett, aber "Breathe" ist einfach soo viel besser!



Pluspunkte:
+ es ist ein Ohrwurm Song
+ der Tanz. Ein bisschen bitchy und ein bisschen spastisch aber die 4 rocken ihn einfach *wackel wackel*
+ bunt bunt bunt
+ ich liebe die Klamotten. Die Outfits bei "Good Girl, Bad Girl" fand ich nich so super, aber in diesem Vid mag ich fast alle Klamotten und auch das Styling gefällt mir (abgesehn von Min's Military Outfit und Jias schwarzer Zottelfrisur). Ich liebe Jias gestreifte Hose, Mins orangenen Lippenstift und das bunte Shirt dazu und Suzys ganzes Outfit mit dem Fusselrock :D.
+ außerdem wurd in dem Vid auch der Humor nicht vergessen. Das mit der menschlichen Kanone und auch den Schluss find ich echt witzig und gelungen :)

Naja, wenn das jetzt schon ein Kpop-Post ist, dann kann ichs auch durchziehen!

Ansonsten haben SHINee schon am Freitag (1. Oktober) ihr Comeback mit nem Song namens "Hello". Wär hätte das gedacht, dass sie so schnell wieder nen Song rausbringen. Bis vor zwei Wochen oder so haben sie ja noch Lucifer promoted... aber naja. SHINee ist mein liebster "guilty pleasure"... ich freu mich wenn ich sie wieder rumhüpfen seh. 2pm haben jetzt übrigens demnächst offiziell ihr Debut in Japan. Toll. Hätte ihnen das nicht ein halbes Jahr früher einfallen können, als ich noch dort war? :( Frustration! (Website zum japanischen Debut hier)
